Carolina P. Amador Moreno 

 

 

Dr. Carolina Amador is a linguist with a 20 year record of research in the area of Irish English. She is currently based at the University of Extremadura, in Spain, where she is Senior lecturer at the Department of English and Director of LINGLAP (Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Lingüística y Lenguas Aplicadas/Reseach Institute for Linguistics and Applied Languages). Her  research interests lie in the areas of stylistics, discourse analysis, language variation and change, sociolinguistics, and pragmatics, with a focus on Irish English.
