William Blake Dominguez is M. A. in Theology, Distinguished Graduate from St. Mary’s University and M. A. in Government and B. A. with Honors in Middle Eastern Studies from University of Texas at Austin.
Among his Academic Honors, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society (1981), Research Grant, U.T. Center for Middle Eastern Studies (1978 – 1979) and Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society (1977).
He taught U.S. and Texas Energy Policies; Introduction to American Government; and Logic and Politics” at the University of Texas at Austin and trained employees to use new information systems at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. Recently he has developed his English Language Teaching Experience through “Bob Dylan in American Culture” seminars; Advanced English Conversation at AMICANA in Mendoza, Argentina. “La Asociación Mendocina de Intercambio Cultural Argentino Norteamericano” and as Personal English tutor in Mendoza, Argentina
He has worked at the Office of Tribunal and Canonical Services of the Diocese of Austin and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. He's been analyst for Arkla, Inc.; Synergypro, Inc.; Texas Youth Commission. At the University of Texas at Austin, he served as Teaching Assistant in the Government Department, as well as Research Assistant, Liberal Arts Tutor for Intercollegiate Athletics, Men and Women and Library Clerk at the Middle East Collection, required knowledge of Arabic.
He was Male and female youth baseball, basketball, and soccer coach (1981- 1996) and he holds the TCIL High School state mile record holder (1972); High School All State honors in Track (1970, 1972) and High School All State honors in Cross Country (1969, 1970, 1971).
