Sheila T. Cavanagh 

 

Sheila T. Cavanagh is Professor of English at Emory University.  Originally from Washington State, she received her education from Georgetown University, Trinity College, Dublin, and Brown University.  She is Founding Director of the World Shakespeare Project, which uses videoconferencing to link students, faculty, and arts practitioners in all continents. During her Fulbright year, she will be working with the Global Shakespeare Centre, which is shared between Queen Mary College, University of London and Warwick University on a variety of projects concerning international Shakespeare.  She will also be participating in events coinciding with the Shakespeare anniversary year of 2016.
